CABLE BURIAL MACHINES
MAC1
The MAC1 has been designed
and manufactured to trench
optical cables during or after being laid
on the seabed.
The trench is obtained using a rotating cutting wheel, which can be set to the desired trench depth.
It can hold power cables (single or bundled),
small-diameter water-pipes, gas pipelines, etc.
MAC1 rests on supporting slides and can be easily adapted to every environment: lagoons, seas, rivers.
It can work in sandy soils, in low/medium consistency seabed (such as clay and silt) and in very fragile and low-hardness coral and rocky seabed.

MAC2
The MAC2 carries out burial of
electrical and power cables,
during or after being laid on the
seabed.
MAC2 can be equipped with various size cutting wheels, in order to reach up to 2m trench depth.
The MAC2 can also be equipped with wheels, in order to make the machine auto-propelled.

MACRO1
The MACRO1 has been designed
to carry out the trenching of
Electrical Power Cables and Fibre
Optic Cables during or post-laid
on the seabed, in compact and rocky seabeds.
The MACRO1 can easily move on different seabed types, taking advantage of its four-wheel drive,
which is chosen in accordance with the type of seabed.

Moreover, this machine can even
be equipped with large cutting
wheels in order to reach deeper
trench depths (up to 3,2m per
pass) compared to previous
machines. Its ballast tank could
be removed in order to operate
in more shallow waters.
