POST TRENCHING
GEO PTM
The GEO PTM belongs to the last
generation of underwater
pipeline post-trenching
machines, particularly suitable
for seabed being from loose to
medium-dense type.
Compared to previous models,
this machine can be equipped
with larger cutting wheels, in
order to reach deeper trench
depths (up to 3m per pass, with
the chance to carry out further
passes).
JOLLY PTM
The Jolly PTM has been
especially designed to perform
trenching works on small-diameter pipes, which risk being
exposed to higher stresses.
Its main characteristic is its weight, which is lighter compared to the other machines.

SPEEDY PTM / LEO PTM
The SPEEDY PTM key feature
consists in the ability to operate
in shallow water and shore
approach areas (in a few meters
water depth).
This PTM is able to carry out pipeline post-trenching, without building a cofferdam and the inconvenience of potential wave action ditch infilling (by carrying out further passes).
In this way, this method helps saving on post-trenching operational costs and on laying equipment stand-by lead-times.
The new generation of Speedy PTM is LEO PTM, which is currently the most adaptable, suitable for various water depths and for various seabed types.
LEO PTM can operate in both deep water, if equipped with a ballast tank, and in a few centimeters water depth up to shore approach, without the ballast tank.
LEO PTM is the most suitable machine for performing in different soil conditions (from loose to hard soil) and the most adaptable to the various project specifications.

LASER PTM / RACK PTM
The LASER PTM has been the first
underwater pipeline post-trenching machine that SEA has
designed and assembled in
order to operate in hard seabed, with sedimentary rocks such as
calcarenite, sandstone and
limestone.
By improving the Laser PTM specifications, SEA has designed and assembled the RACK PTM, an underwater pipeline post- trenching machine, that is more resistant and with higher trenching performance in rock. By employing this PTM, SEA has successfully carried out projects in rocky areas where the post-trenching method had never been considered feasible.

COMBO PTM / PIPER PTM
The COMBO PTM is born from the
combined experience of the past PTM models.
The machine’s frame can be customized on-site and adapted to project requirements.
Furthermore, the cutting wheels and their arm supports can be replaced, in order to operate on pipes that can range from 6″Ø to 50″Ø and in seabed that go from soft to particularly hard (up to 5Mpa).
The Combo PTM is therefore ideal in projects where different diameter pipelines must be trenched, in various seabed materials.
The PIPER PTM is a pipeline post- trenching machine that has been specifically designed for bundled and piggy-backed pipelines.
The PIPER frame can be equipped with specific driving wheels that can run on piggy-back systems by avoiding any risk of pipeline/cable damage.
