SEA S.r.l. (SEA) is an Italian Company, highly specialised in Sea Trenching Works
Established in 1992 by its Technical Director Franco
Ballestri in Ravenna, where its headquarters are still
based, counting also a workshop of approx. 1000 m²,
SEA designs and builds here all its equipment.
Its branch offices, located in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro)
and in Malta, liaise with the headquarters in order provide technical and logistics support to the Company projects. Moreover, SEA also counts on the collaboration of other companies in Europe and America, that render their offices/bases available to SEA’s operations in
various countries all over the world.
SEA is specialized in sea trenching works of pipelines (from 3” to 60”) and flexible products, providing a complete service to the Client, from designing to building its own machines.
SEA has indeed always designed and developed
its own equipment, reaching an excellence in the field and counting therefore long-term business relationships with a wide range of Clients such as Saipem, Petrobras, Technip FMC and Mc Dermott.
The concept behind SEA’s machines derives from specific needs connected to the project and therefore to the machine evolution from a previous model. This ensures extreme versatility to the machines, which are suitable to perform trenches in most types of seabed
and on products which vary in diameter.
